Starbursts:
Starbursts are often reported by laser eye surgery patients, particularly at night, and particularly by patients with large pupils.

- Clicking any starburst element at the bottom makes it visible.
- A red background indicates which element is currently hooked the sliders on the upper left.
- Use the sliders to change each element. X Scales and Y Scale control size. Opacity controls transparency.
- Tip: Use one of the halos to create a bright central core; make it slightly larger than the light source.
- Tip: You can drag the big starbursts to any location...if the rays don't quite meet up with the light source, just drag the starburst until it seems right to you.
- Tip: Clicking any starburst element causes it to move from through the invisible, selected, and visible states.
- Tip: Getting results means working with the simulator long enough to learn which of the patterns at bottom can be combined and altered to make the total starburst shape.
- Tip: Set the level of blur last. Blur takes a lot of CPU to calculate, so it tends to slow down the whole simulator.
